While Ace Hardware was in discussions for the Cedar Park Shopping Center space, Aekta—formerly a physician—was looking for a career change. Her husband, Faizal, who works in government contracting, encouraged the idea, and the couple decided to take the leap together.
“The community response has been amazing,” Aekta said. “Everyone is so happy we’re here. It’s like Cheers—everyone knows your name!”
In addition to building relationships with their neighbors, Faizal and Aekta are also fostering close partnerships with their brand representatives from Benjamin Moore, Big Green Egg, Milwaukee Tools, and others.
