Elevated Mindset Therapy specializes in trauma-informed counseling and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP),offering evidence-based and emerging treatments for people navigating mental health challenges. Services also include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, sound healing, and meditation.
“This is a place where people are coming specifically for trauma processing,” said Daniel Lavelle, LPC, and owner of Elevated Mindset Therapy. “We help people dive deep into their psyches.”
Town officials participated in an official ribbon cutting ceremony on August 7, 2025. Lavelle and his team provided a guided tour of the space, mock demonstrations of services, and mini educational sessions designed to illustrate the evidence-based, clinical foundations behind each of their therapeutic offerings.
Vienna Mayor Linda Colbert was joined by Ashley Curtis, Marketing and Business Engagement Specialist with Town of Vienna Economic Development, and Peggy James, Executive Director of the Vienna Business Association.
A proud graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Lavelle brings years of experience in private practice to this new venture. His goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space for people facing issues such as addiction, mood disorders, abuse, anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions — along with those simply seeking to better understand themselves.
Lavelle’s team includes professionals offering a wide range of complementary healing services, all working together with one goal: supporting clients in healing both deeply and holistically.
