Metro Motor’s arrival in Vienna represents a continuation of longtime automotive services at 330 Dominion Road NE, as well as a new investment in one of the Town’s established industrial-commercial properties.
Founded in 2001, Metro Motor operates 20 auto repair shops, two collision repair centers, a regional towing fleet, and an automotive supply division. Through its acquisition of Auto Body of Vienna, the company is building upon the location’s longstanding history while bringing additional resources and operational capacity to the property.
Metro Motor has invested in improvements to the Vienna facility, retained and created skilled employment opportunities, and continued providing collision-repair services to residents and businesses. The company’s presence also supports the Town’s goal of maintaining a diverse local economy that includes service, industrial, retail, and professional businesses.
“Vienna’s industrial-commercial district has historically played an important role in meeting the everyday needs of Town residents,” says Nicole Toulouse, Director of Economic Development for the Town of Vienna. “Metro Motor’s investment in improving this property, creating jobs, and continuing an essential automotive service demonstrates how established commercial areas can evolve while retaining the uses that have served our community for generations.”
Metro Motor has also begun developing relationships within the broader Vienna community. Since opening its Vienna location, the company has supported several Town events, including ViVa! Vienna!, Chillin’ on Church, and Oktoberfest.

According to Ashe, community members frequently stop by the property while walking along the nearby trail — sometimes simply to introduce themselves and other times to ask about a minor dent or needed repair.
